4 men who were allegedly arrested with solid fentanyl ring in Colorado

Denver-four men who said that they were associated with a massive multi-state fenanyl distribution network were arrested in Colorado, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said on Wednesday.

The law enforcement agencies of several state and state authorities took the four undocumented people into custody in the past month after an eight-month examination, which comes from Canon City, according to a CBI release.

About 800,000 fentanyl pills and fentanyl powder, methamphetamine, heroin, six vehicles and around $ 60,000 in cash were confiscated during operation.

The authorities said that the four suspects were involved in drug trafficking in the U -Bahn area of ​​Denver and in South and North Colorado.

The main suspect, Rafael Salazar-Amaya, is exposed to 44 criminal counts, including violations of the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act (COCCA) and several drug-related crimes.

Other arrested people-Fernando Noriega-Alvarado, 52; Celedonio Pulido-Romero, 31; And an unpopular man, 24 – look different in connection with the distribution of medicinal products and organized crimes.

The examination showed that the drug ring, which is assumed that it is connected to the Sinaloa cartel, is associated with the CBI in New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Mexico.

“This was an meticulous operation that required interagement cooperation to complete a massive operation,” said Dan Volz, deputy director of investigations for CBI. “Every pill taken off the street is a less potential overdose death.”

During the operation of Colorado, the federal authorities arrested 16 people and confiscated record -breaking quantities of fentanyl, cash, firearms and vehicles in several states, including New Mexico, Uregon, Nevada and Arizona.

This operation was the largest fentanyl bust in the history of the drug authorities. It was led by Salazar-Amaya's brother Heriberto Salazar Amaya (36), who was arrested to the 16, according to CBI.

All four suspects are currently held in the Adams County Detung Center and are pursued by the 17th public prosecutor's office.
