NYPD officer critically injured the crash, while he reacts to 911 call in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn,

Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn (WABC)- A NYPD officer was critically injured in a crash while hurried to react to a 911 call in Brooklyn.

The crash occurred in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 8 p.m.

According to the police, a marked NYPD vehicle towards the east on the Willoughby Avenue collided with a white Nissan Rogue who drove north to the Walworth Street. It is unclear who hit whom.

According to the police, the officials hurried into a scene after the police had received an emergency call for an armed man in Willoughby and Tompkins Avenue.

The driver of the White Nissan, a 28-year-old man, is in stable condition.

One of the officials was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in a critical but stable state.

There is still no word under the condition of the other officer.

The examination continues.
