Bodycam film material that was published after the brother of the former housewife of the Newport Beach Police was killed.

Newport Beach, California (KABC) – The Newport Beach Police Department has released Body Camera film material for a shootout in which the brother of a former star “Real Housewives of Orange County” was dead.

Last month, the police fatally shot the 45-year-old Geoffrey Stirling, the brother of Lydia McLaughlin, who appeared in the 8th season and in the twelve season of the hit reality TV show in Bravo.

Stirling, who drove a motorcycle at the time of the incident, was shot at the Pacific Coast Highway near Hoag Hospital Newport Beach after a traffic stop at the Pacific Coast Highway.

The police put on him after driving a red light, the video shows.

Stirling then became “uncooperative” during the stop.

In the video published on the YouTube channel of the Newport Beach Police Department, hear the official who asks Stirling.

Stirling replies: “I don't care what you tell me.”

The official continues to ask Stirling to sit down.

“The official spent several commands and instructed Mr. Stirling to sit down, but he couldn't keep up,” said Newport Beach PD SGT. Steve Oberon in the video.

Oberon said Stirling later hit the officer in his head several times and then removed the taser of the officer.

“At some point Mr. Stirling put the taser against the back of the officer,” said Oberon. “The officer was able to free himself, and when Mr. Stirling headed the Taser on him, a shooting involved by officer appeared.”

Stirling was taken to a hospital that night, where he was declared dead.

“The Newport Beach Police Department remains committed to transparency and accountability in all its business states,” said the department in a statement. “The publication of this video is part of our continuous efforts to keep the community up to date and committed.”

In the meantime, the Stirling family published an explanation after the film material was published and said that it had “serious concerns” about the actions of the official.

“Grabes and specific concerns are that the videos seem to show [Stirling] The official, who was pulled away six times at the time he was shot, read the explanation. «The family planning to submit a lawsuit before a federal court in order to receive the complete answers and apply for accountability. Geoff experienced a crisis for mental health when he was stopped because of a traffic violation. Geoff was unarmed and did not represent the officials of a fatal threat. The von Stirling family assumes that all video and audio film material together with each report and conclusion of evidence in connection with this deeply disturbing shootout is kept for the presentation. The cause of death was blood loss. Despite the presence of several officers who reported on the scene, no help was initially offered. The family remains with a broken heart and on the ground that Geoff was taken from them in an unjustified application of deadly violence. It is also tragic that there may have been other options and tactics that were available to the official, which he did not use due to his training. “
