Florida Frauengolf progress at the NCAA championship

The success of Florida Women's Golf's golf team man at the Seclottesville, North Carolina, led to the NCAA regional tournament. The team was equipped with 12 teams at the tournament, which contained 12 teams from all over the country.

The team had five golfers from Monday to Wednesday, including the newcomer Jessica Guiser, the redshirt Addison Addison Klonowski, the Redshirt in the second year, Karoline Tuttle, and Ines Ines Archer and Paula Francsico in the second year.

Although Guiser is the youngest competitor of the team, he is the only individual tournament winner in the group. Francisco, however, was the star player of the Gator this week.

Florida ended in fourth place on the first day, and only Francisco and Guiser recorded a score of par or better.

Francisco ended the first round with a career best number of 4. After the opening day of the competition with the senior of South Carolina Louise Rydqvist, she was the best. In 2024, Rydqvist was the European women's amateur champion, and it was one of only four amateurs who made the cut in the British Open of women in 2024.

Francisco competed with Rydqvist during the second round and acquired the lower score. Until the end of the competition on Tuesday, Francisco headed the individual tournament at 5.

The Gators benefited from their success when the rest of the team began to measure themselves on the course. Florida went to third place after the second round when Francisco, Archer and Guiser ended in the top 25.

The team opened the third round with a birdie from both Klonowski and Tuttle on Hole One. The dynamics contributed to bringing the gators through the front nine when they were in second place with the University of Mississippi.

In order to get to the last post -season tournament, Florida had to stay in the five best teams. After the curve, the gators were up to date to do exactly that.

Florida was 10 shots within the cut line after nine holes. Archer had an arch -free front nine and a birdie on hole 10.

The joint efforts of the Gators enabled them to bind third place in the tournament in addition to the Virginia guest team.

In the end, Francisco cardned her worst score of the tournament at 1-over. She earned a second place, a blow behind Marie Madsen, the newcomer to North Carolina.
