After the accident of two -vehicles, three people admitted to the hospital in Geary County on Wednesday

Geary County, Kan. (Wibw) – Three people suffered serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon after an accident with two vehicles in Geary County.

The crash was reported around 2:17 p.m. south of Junction City near West Lyons Creek Road.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Toyota Corolla drove north from 2011 on the U-77, while a Chevrolet Cruze drove south on the same highway in 2017.

The Toyota Corolla crossed the center line and collided with the Chevrolet Cruze.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla, Salman Shinwari, 16, from Manhattan, was brought to the Stormont Vail Hospital in Junction City with alleged serious injuries.

The driver of the Cruze, Donna Marie Mitchell (62) from Herrington, and her passenger Linda Kay Schreiner, 66, also from Herrington, were both brought to the Stormont Vail Hospital in Junction City with alleged serious injuries.
