Kuching (May 8th): The Minister of Labor Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi has submitted a police report against a message that claims his participation in the corruption scandal project by Sabah Pan Borneo Highway (WP35).

In a Facebook post today today, Nanta said that the message was initially distributed via a telegram channel.

“In this regard, yesterday (May 7th) I submitted a police report at the police station to HS Lee through my high -ranking private secretary in order to emphasize these allegations and to ask the authorities to investigate this matter immediately,” said Nanta.

The chapter -deputy, assured the responsible authorities that he will work together in any form in any form to support the examination and to leave it completely to take appropriate measures against a party that is responsible for the spread of the news.

“I would like to emphasize that defamation cannot be an instrument to affect the reputation of an individual, especially for political profits or personal agenda,” he said.

“The message contains direct accusations against me as works for Malaysia with allegations that are defamatory, unfounded and malignant. I emphasize all such allegations.”

He emphasized that as a politician and member of the government administration, who always maintains trust and is committed to securing the interests of the people and the country, the allegations not only affect his image and integrity, but also the call of the Ministry of Labor and the Malaysian government.

“It is more worrying that the message was spread not only in the telegram, but also divided on various social media platforms, which creates negative perceptions and prejudices of the community,” he added.
