NHL Playoffs 2025: Stanley Cup time plan, bracket, scores, as Maple Leaf, stars win

The NHL playoffs continued on Wednesday and the Maple Leafs achieved a highly competitive victory against the Panthers to put a 2-0 series in the lead, while the stars replaced the jets at their start.

Toronto leaned onto her veterans -forward group because she made life very difficult for Florida Sergei Bobrovsky goalkeeper. The two sides exchanged goals all night and the Maple Leafs had 3: 2 in the lead after two periods thanks to a late second destination of Max Domi.

Only 5:33 a.m. in the third period, Panther's striker Anton Lundell scored an impressive gate in which he corrected the puck out of his skate and freaked into the open network to bind the game with 3. Just 17 seconds later, Maple Leaf's striker Mitch Marner, threw a shot on the net.

In Winnipeg the jets opened the goals with a Nino Niederreiter Tally in the second half, but then the Mikko Rantane show started. The winger of the stars scored three consecutive goals in the frame to record the natural hat trick. The last balance sheet came on an experiment passed by Jets defender Dylan Samberg to be attributed to rantons. It was Rantane's second game in a row in which he recorded a hat trick.

The playoff will continue on Thursday when the capitals are trying to bind their series against the Hurricanes, while the Golden Knights organize the Oilers in game 2 of their series.
