The Philadelphia Union returned to Subaru Park in the Lamar Hunt Us Open Cup on Wednesday evening and achieved its first win in the tournament since 2018. In the sixth minute, the midfielder Alejandro Bedoya scored his 30th goal for the club to give the Union a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Elvis Amoh scored the Equalizer to send the match to additional time. After additional time, the game was decided by kicks from the penalty point. The local goalkeeper Andrew Rick has a rescue behavior in the shootout to secure the union's place in the 16th round.

The union will return to Subaru Park on Saturday, May 10th (7:30 p.m. ET/ Apple TV) to organize Columbus Crew.
