Paul Lopez was a big factor to limit Baltimore to just one run at the start. Lopez went five innings and only gave up one run on a double from Ryan Mountcastle in the fourth. Otherwise he only gave up another goal and impressively fan 11 batters. Lopez would get the entire running support that he would need if the twins in the third inning, which was highlighted by a Homer of two runs by Carlos Correa, set up a five-point ininning. Minnesota opened the game even more by putting a place in seventh place with a high-towering three-run shot from Byron Buxton.

The twins will try to seal the deal in this series on Wednesday with Simeon Woods-Richardson. The law is 2-2 with an ERA of 4.03. Charlie Morton will start for Orioles and his first year in Baltimore will not work as he planned. The veteran is 0-6 with a 9.76 ERA.
