I-64 East closed with a motorcycle after crash

Kanawha County, W.Va. (Wsaz) – Interstate 64 East is open again early Thursday morning after a fatal crash on Wednesday evening, which according to the West Virginia Division of Highways demanded that a motorcycle driver.

The crash was reported shortly before 8:15 p.m., about half a mile from the outcome in South Charleston in Montrose Drive.

Kanawha County, W.Va., (WSAZ) – Interstate 64 East was closed on Wednesday evening in the area of ​​South Charleston after a fatal accident with a motorcycle.

The crash was reported shortly before 8:15 p.m. near Mile Marker 54. It was about half a mile from the output of the Montrose Drive.

Andrew Gordon of the South Charleston police later confirmed that the victim had died after being brought to a hospital in Charleston with serious injuries.

Gordon said the crash also implemented a truck by pulling a trailer.

From shortly before 11 p.m., the Interstate 64 East was partially closed so that an accident reconstruction could be carried out.

Among the first aiders on site are the police and fire departments of South Charleston and the EMS crews from the Kanawha district.
