Cruise ship -suspect against the deposit after the death of man in the middle of “argument” released

A man who was arrested on a cruise for murder after the death of a passenger colleague was released for the deposit.

According to a police explanation of people, the 57-year-old from Devon, England, was released on Tuesday, May 6th, against the deposit after Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary arrested him after a fatal argument on a cruise ship.

“We are investigating the death of a 60-year-old man from West Sussex on board the MSC Virtuosa, which took place on Saturday (May 3) around 8.30 p.m.,” says the press release. “As part of our inquiries, a 57-year-old man from Exeter was arrested in Southampton Docks, but he was now released for deposit while our inquiries are continued.”

They added: “We are still interested in hearing from everyone who was on board the boat and may have information that could support our inquiries.”

“Anyone who has information about an argument between two men, especially people who have seen something should call 101 and quote the reference 44250193676,” concluded the authorities.

According to Outlet, the cruise ship returned to the British harbor on Monday, May 5, after spending two nights in Bruges, Belgium.

MSC Cruises announced in an explanation for people: “After an incident on board our ship, the responsible authorities were contacted and we fully cooperate with their investigations. We support those affected, and the thoughts are with family and friends in this difficult time.”

According to the MSC Cruises website, the MSC virtuosa has a capacity of 6,334 guests. It also has 2,421 cabins and 1,704 crew members.
