Indianapolis Colt's defense lawyer confidently to return from injuries

Indianapolis Colts Edge Rusher Samson Ebukam lost in the 2024-25 NFL season after he torn his Achilles in a training camp training in July.

Ebukon led the team with 9.5 sacks in 2023, in the same year the Colts set a record for most sacks in one season (51). His absence was obvious last year, when Indianapolis only looked at 36 sacks, a difference of 15 tales about the previous year.

After a disappointing defense season, the colts will wait for Ebukam's return. With a new defensive coordinator in Lou Anarumo, Ebukam could be set for another successful season in blue and white.

Ebukam spoke to the media about his recreational process for injuries and said he expected to be ready to be ready for this year's training camp in good time.

Ebukon turns 30 this Friday and makes him seventh oldest player on Indys squad. Four defensive lines on the Colts are 30+, including Deforest Buckner, Grover Stewart and Tyquan Lewis.

Ebukam's best season came with the Colts after spending six seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. It was originally collected by the Rams with the 125th overall election in the fourth round of the NFL design 2017.

His total number for the 2023 season was 9.5 sacks, 57 duels (10 for losses), 17 quarterback hits and three forced fiddling. If he recovered completely, the Colts could use his skills alongside Laiatu Latu, Kwity Paye and Rookie JT Tuimoloau.

Ebukam had never missed a full season in his career, and he took the time to talk about how difficult this process was for him.

“… I had to miss a whole year. I never had to do that, so that was the most difficult process. I only kept my faith in front of me … of course it wasn't all nice and dandy. Every day is certainly different. But I will be fine.”

Later, Ebukam was asked about Anarumo and the impressions he had from him. “He is serious,” said Ebukam. “He is very serious. He knows what he wants. He demands it. We just have to go out and appear. If we appear, it will be good.”

After an exhausting recovery process, Ebukam sounds as if he were ready to influence the defense of Anarumo. The Colts need one year and a year after they have declined the playoffs for the fourth year in a row. Ebukam has the chance to achieve this if he stays healthy.
