2025 NBA design: Full ordering of the picks for the first and second round

The NBA Draft Lottery will take place on Monday (7 p.m. ESPN). Since we know the participating teams, we have a better picture of the full selection order for the draft from 2025 (June 25th to 26th).

The Utah Jazz (17-65), Washington Wizards (18-64) and Charlotte Hornets (19-63) each have a 14% chance of being number 1. The New Orleans Pelicans (21-61) have a chance of 12.5%, followed by the Philadelphia 76ers (24-58) with a chance of 10.5%. This is the second year in a row, in which the wizards have the greatest chance of making number 1, even though the Atlanta Hawks 2024 landed the top election and selected Zaccharia Risacher.

The wizards last elected No. 1 in 2010 (John Wall), while the Hornets most recently used the top election for Larry Johnson in the 1991 draft. Jazz is one of six NBA franchise companies that have never landed the coveted No. 1 slot.
