The Statesville police officer injured the Rollover crash when he responded to the call

Statesville, NC (WBTV) – A Police from Statesville The officer was injured after being involved in a crash when he reacted to a call this week, the department said.

The crash occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of the Turersburg Highway and the Glenway Drive.

The police said the official drove north with their blue lights and sirens on the Turersburg Highway when a Chevrolet Silverado tried to cross the highway. The officer then collided with the truck and had the truck turned over and a dodge trip hit.

The Silverado officer and driver suffered both minor injuries in the crash and were taken to the hospital. Nobody in the dodge was injured.

The Statesville police said Highway Patrol was called for the intersection and examined the crash.

The police did not say what kind of call to the officials reacted.

There was no word about whether someone was charged in this case.
