Metallica publishes official video from the Syracuse concert: Are you there?

Would you like to see yourself in a metallica video?

The Thrash Metal Legends published an official video on Wednesday, in which the performance of “Creeping Death”, the opening number at the Syracuse record concert in the last month. The professionally filmed and edited clip shows Metallica's full, 7-minute live version of the 1984 song, which was recorded on April 19, 2025 with The JMA Wireless Dome.

The film material contains angles of the band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett, who only saw a few fans during the concert, including Ulrich on stage before they went to his drum kit. It also turns the camera in the crowd several times, shows the audience who sing along, filmed on their telephones or looked out with devil horns that grew up in the air.

The sound is particularly great because it uses the Mixing Board audio, an enormous improvement in the audience experience due to the irreconcilable acoustics of the concrete dome. It serves as a preview of the official live recording of Metallica from Syracuse, which will be published next month as a TWO CD set on Metallica.com (for USD 24.99) or by digital download at livemallica.com.
