Parents who are charged for 3 months old because of murder in New York's death-NBC10 Philadelphia

Parents of a three-month-old girl who died from the officials were stumped on their headworms and accused of causing the child's death.

On Thursday morning, law enforcement officers in Ocean County, New Jersey, the arrests and the indictment of Ruben Santiago (36) and Caitlin Gibson (28) announced for their alleged roles in Lakewood, New Jersey, in the death of her three -month -old daughter.

According to the police, the officials reacted to the couple's house along the Pinehurst Drive in Lakewood, about a report of a child who did not address the house on Monday, May 5, 2025.

First aiders, according to the police, tried life -saving techniques and the child was taken to a nearby hospital and then brought to a pediatric intensive care unit, where the girl was pronounced on May 6, 2025.

An autopsy of the child discovered that the girl died of blunt force trauma on the head and as the police said, her death was ruled as a murder.

An investigation, as police officers claim that the girl's parents, Santiago and Gibson, were supposedly responsible for the child's death – although police officers did not provide any additional information about what led to the child's death.

Both parents of the girl were arrested on Wednesday and are currently in police custody in Ocean County prison, where the police are waiting for detention heating.
