Healthy video from Newmarket, NH, PD, the five baby ducks saves

When I lived in Boston, they rarely heard from the local police who saved animals that were in need. In New Hampshire it is not unusual for a police department to be all hands on the deck to save a horse that loosens at the freely, leads an elk to safety or reunices a lost piglet with his mom. It's all in the work of a day!

It is always so healthy to see stories about local police stations that come together to help, and animals that need it.

Yesterday morning at 8:45 a.m., New Market, New Hampshire, the police authority received a report on baby ducks, which was caught in a storm outflow in the Weaver St. They knew immediately what had to be done, so they took action!

They also used the situation as an opportunity to make fun of their colleagues from Newmarket Fire Rescue. They finally arrived to help.

A total of five duck chicks were safely saved from the drain and reunited with their mother, just in time for Mother's Day.

Maybe it's because I saw too much wife Rachel with my toddler. That's why my brain is broken, but this story immediately reminded me of the song “Five Little Ducks” and now I won't get it out of my head for the rest of the day.
