Married couple Lakewood charged with murder in the death of the 3 -month -old daughter

Lakewood, NJ-a couple Lakewood, was charged with the death of her three-month-old daughter, the public prosecutor's office of Ocean County said on Thursday.

Ruban Santiago (36) and Caitlin M. Gibson (28) were arrested on Wednesday, said prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. They are held in the Ocean County prison in Toms River until a hearing is detained.

The Lakewood police responded to a 911 call for a child who had difficulties with Ateme on Monday around 7:20 p.m. and no longer found the baby, said the public prosecutor. An autopsy that was carried out by the Ocean County's medical examiner on Wednesday found that the child had suffered a blunt force trauma on the head, which led to fractures and subdural hematoma, the public prosecutor said.

The investigators of the public prosecutor's office, the Lakewood Police and the crime scene of the Sheriff of the Ocean County, found that Santiago and Gibson were responsible for the baby's death, the public prosecutor said.

The public prosecutor did not provide any additional details about the investigations.
