The MPs calculate the father, who is accused of causing 6 weeks old brain injuries

Greenville, SC (Fox Carolina) – The Sheriff office of the Greenville County said that a father was charged after the MPs were called to a hospital for child abuse.

According to the Sheriff's office, the MPs arrested 26-year-old Keontae Derrick Austin on Wednesday after the investigators had been asked to the Greenville Memorial Hospital. It was found that the 6-week victim was attacked by his father Keontae Austin.

In an arrest warrant, Austin stated that the baby and causing severe head injuries, including anoxic brain injuries and eyetence. The baby lives, but is currently in a critical condition.

Officials said that Austin had been charged with great physical injury due to child abuse and was recorded in the Detention Center of Greenville County, where a temporary bond is determined.
