Coroner identifies 4 girls who were killed in the crash in Chatham, Illinois

Sangamon County's forensic doctor, Jim Allmon, identified the four people who were beaten and killed in Ynot outdoors in Chatham on April 28th.

A vehicle driven by Marianne Akers (44) from Chatham met several people outside the facility before the vehicle fell into the building.

The four were identified as Ainsley Johnson, 8; Kathryn Corley, 7, and Alma Buhnerkempe, 7, all from Chatham and Rylee Britton, 18, from Springfield.

All four girls were declared dead at the crime scene.

Postmortem procedure carried out by the forensic doctor's office showed that they all died of violence violent violations that were suffered during the crash.

Due to the crash examined, Akers is not recorded by the police, said ISP.

Akers was not injured, but was taken to a hospital, according to an earlier release, to receive the evaluation.

“This does not seem to be a targeted attack,” ISP wrote.

The deaths remain examined.
