Fans amazed by Throwback video by Ella Langley: “Take the down”

Talk about ingrown, Ella Langley!

Although it feels as if the Country Newcomer has appeared out of nowhere last year with her hit “Youing Like You Love Me” with Riley Green, she has actually been crunching for years.

And she changed during this time – a lot.

An old music video of Langley recently appeared on social media and the fans cannot wrap around what they have just seen.

“How TF the same person is,” writes Ryans_1776. “Literally it doesn't even look like she or I'm just stupid, LMAO. I don't say that it is not her, but how it changes drastically both in sound and appearance.”

The clip in question comes from an old music video for a song entitled “Here” that Langley obviously published in 2018. Although the complete video is difficult to find, there is indications that she will work on it at that time during her time at Auburn University.

The country star looks particularly different in the clip. First of all, she lacks her typical pony, and her hair seems to be a light brown, which is a contrast to the dark locks that she rocks these days.

Her voice also sounds a bit poppy and more powerful than today. In 2025 Langley opted for a smoky, humid delivery in her songs.

The comments are full of fans who scratch themselves on the heads and applaud langley's obvious glow.

“Ella's voice has matured into a pronounced, deep, smoky voice that I love,” writes Tabrown1228. “What a talent!”

It is encouraging to see how Langley is so committed to her dreams and is even more inspiring to see her.

This year she has nominated for a whopping eight ACM prices and has already won two of them – new artists of the year and visual media of the year for the music video for “You look like you love me.”

The 2025 ACM Awards will only be streamed on Thursday (May 8th) on Amazon Prime Video.
