Stein demands financing for the fentanyl control unit

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) – The governor of North Carolina, Josh Stein, was to come to Charlotte to finance a fentanyl control unit.

According to Stein, the Fentanyl Control unit would at least partially be made by drug agents and prosecutors, the focus of which is prevented from investigating complex drug rings and preventing drugs from entering the state.

The press conference takes place because nationwide data show an increase in children's deaths by fentanyl.

Stein will be law enforcement officers and some fentanyl residents affected.
