One man killed, someone else wounded in shooting Oakland

Oakland -A man was killed and another man was wounded in a dark shot in a dark on Thursday, the authorities said.

The first reports were that both men were 49 years old, but their names were not published. The police did not say where they lived or whether they knew each other.

The shootout, which activated a firing system alarm, occurred on Thursday at 12:42 p.m. in the 3400 block of the Macarthur Boulevard between Midvale and 35 Avenue.

The police found one of the men on site. He was taken to a hospital in which he was died.

The other man who was wounded more than once got his own transport to a hospital, the authorities said. His condition was not available.

The police have not published a motive for the shootout or announced any arrests.

The investigators have not yet said whether the men were shot by someone on the street or by someone in a passing vehicle.

The murder is the 29th murder, which was examined by the Oakland police this year. The police had examined the same number of murders last year.
