Tyrese Haliburton is warned of dance by NBA, but not a good one, says AP Source, says AP Quelle

Tyrese Haliburton danced. He will not pay a fine.

Haliburton, the security guard of Indiana, who is violated after game 2 of the Pacers victory in Cleveland in the semi -finals of the Eastern Conference on Tuesday evening in Cleveland with a fine for his dance ceremony, only received a warning from the league office, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

The person spoke on Thursday on the condition of anonymity because the decision had not been published publicly.

“I waited for it. I waited for it, man,” said Haliburton after game 2 when he was asked after the celebration and whether he expected to hear from the league. “It was right at the moment. It was right at the moment. Yes, man, I was waiting for it. I will be happy to take it well.”

Instead, it will only be a warning.

Haliburton expected a fine, because celebrations, similar to a long time ago, were first brought to the league by Sam Cassell – in the past he deserved such punishments from the NBA. Lebron James, Eddie House, Julius Randle, Fred Van Vleet and more have previously finished fines for what the league described as a “obscene gesture”.

Haliburton's 3 pointer with 1.1 seconds left an Indiana rally out of 20 points and brought the Pacers a 120-119 victory. The Pacers now lead the series against the top seed cavaliers 2-0, with the games 3 and 4 in Indianapolis on Friday and Sunday.
