Austin Pay Football player killed in the car accident: Alabama man because of murder, Dui charged with the case

William Hardrick, a senior defensive at Austin Pay State University, was killed in Alabama on Tuesday in a motorway accident on the I-65. He was 22.

According to News 19, Hardrick had traveled south when the vehicle he left on the street and hit a fence and pressed before he came to rest on the Piney Chapel Road near the Interstate. Hardrick was declared dead in the scene.

The Alabama Criminal Police Agency later arrested 31-year-old John Walter McAdam in connection with the crash and accused him of murder and two cases in which he had left the scene of the accident with an injury and a number of driving under influence. According to the court documents shared by Waff, McAdams had a blood alcohol content of 0.09%just above the legal limit.

Court documents state that McAdam's ruthlessly committed “in behavior that showed extreme indifference to human life, and a serious risk of death for a person other than the said John McAdams and thereby caused the death of William Deon Hardrick.”

Hardrick, a native of Adamsville, who played football in his hometown on the Minor High School, was played for Austin Peach for Mississippi State and Miami (Ohio). Hardrick performed in 18 games for Miami in the last two seasons and took 14 solo branches and four through.

“We are really sad about the death of William Hardrick, a new member of our football program and the Austin Pay family,” says a statement by the APSU vice president and director of athletics, Gerald Harrison. “All of our thoughts and prayers are today with the Hardrick family. We will do everything we can to support his friends, family and teammates at that time.”

“William Hardrick was an extraordinary young man and our team was broken by his loss with heart,” said the APSU soccer coach Jeff Faris. “He made everyone around him better and had a real effect on both and outside the field. We raise the Hardrick family in prayer while we mourn this tragic loss.”

Hardrick's fatal crash continues to be examined by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
