Pedestrian who was killed by the Semi on April 25th

Rock Springs, Wyo.-a pedestrian was killed in Sweetwater County in a hit-and-run on April 25 after being hit by a semi-trailer on the side of the road.

About 4:30 p.m. along the Interstate 80, near Milepost 99 near Rock Springs, had a man who was identified as a 41-year-old Texan Jeremy Simien, parked along the shoulder and stood in front of his vehicle.

The temporary Semi scored Simien and then could not stop at the scene. In his report, Wyoming Highway Patrol lists the inattention of the drivers, the use of mobile phones and the fatigue of the drivers as possible.

In a social media contribution, the WHP is looking for the public in determining the driver or company with which the driver is.
