Pemex in Mexico reports leaks for the oil pipeline that delivers the DOS -BOCAS terminal

(Reuters) -The Mexican state energy company Pemex said on Wednesday evening that two leaks in a pipeline, which transported oil from its Akal-C platform to the Maritime terminal of DOS Bocas in the southern state of Tabasco.


In a statement, Pemex said that preparations were carried out to check the density of the pipeline and resume their operation.

The announcement will follow local media on Wednesday about an oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.

Pemex said oil at DOS Bocas Maritime Terminal in the municipality of Paraiso, Tabasco reached a seven -kilometer long bank stretch. The company's explanation added that the cleanup would probably be complete in the next few hours and that it worked with local communities to resume fishing.

Pemex is announced for a week after an incident had temporarily closed the operations in the company's Olmeca refinerie, which is located next to the DOS -Bocas terminal.
