MA sports trainer killed in traffic collision

Dylan Taylor, sports trainer of the Menlo Aterton High School, died on May 7 near an intersection on the Middlefield Road and the Prior Lane in Atherton. Taylor was one of the first-semester football coaches of the MA as well as the youth basketball as well as basketball as well as basketball and the field trainer for the Middle Schools from La Incada.

The MA director Karl Losekoot shared an e -mail with the community and staff on Wednesday afternoon. According to the message, Taylor suffered life -threatening injuries and did not survive the crash.

Taylor grew up in the community and was known for his work as a para -ductor for middle school students and sports trainers for local young people. Losekoot's e -mail ensured that MA would have additional consultants at hand to offer students and employees emotional support. The employees will also check in with students who were in the football team and were previously trained by Taylor.

Atherton's police state that preliminary findings indicate that the collision has occurred when the vehicle bent right onto the previous track, while Taylor was in the specific bicycle lane. Taylor was taken to a nearby hospital by the medical staff and declared dead shortly afterwards.

“This is the first fatal traffic collision in Atherton this year,” said the ATHERTON police in a press release on May 8.

“The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and works completely with the ongoing investigations,” said law enforcement officer. “At this point there is no indication that alcohol or drug factors have contributed to the collision.”
