Marvel publishes strange 10-hour Daredevil video

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of participants

Marvel seems to have developed a new marketing strategy: really, really long videos. A typical example: Marvel has just released a 10-hour meditation video with Charlie Cox when Matt Murdock/Daredevil kneels in the rain on a roof. You can watch the video below for a long time.

The video with the title “Meditaten with Daredevil” contains sounds of rain and thunder as well as city bikes such as horn horns. Cox stays in the same position all the time, sometimes looks away from the camera and sometimes looks at it. As usual in almost every nightly recording of Daredevil on the page or on the screen, there are several water towers in the background.

The title of the video says: “Take a break from the fight against crime and improve with Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock.

Marvel builds up a fairly library of meditation videos. A month ago, Marvel posted an 8.5-hour video by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in his Yellow-and-Blue “Deadpool & Wolverine” stun-up and did nothing but breathing for most of the video.

In contrast to the Daredevil video, Jackman occasionally changed the position in a homage to the iconic cover of “Wolverine” No. 1 from 1982, flashed his claws with one hand and waved the reader closer with the other. The heading of the video is: “April is the national stress consciousness month. Breathe deeply and feel that your Adamantium bones melt away. See Deadpool & Wolverine on @disneyplus.”

Ironically, both Cox and Jackman are two of the biggest Marvel names that were left out of another really long, long Marvel video: the 5-hour video that revealed the occupation of the “Avengers: Doomsday” next year.

Cox recently reacted to his missing name during an interview with Collider and said: “It is not there, is it? Listen how this information comes to us, just as everyone else gets to everyone else. At least historically, this was the case. Someone sent the link to me.

Regardless of how many long meditation videos he plays, it is of course difficult to take Cox 'word to the nominal value. Together with Andrew Garfield, Cox in 2021 in 2021 from his presence “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.
