Sanford Pastor was arrested in Virginia for children's crime

Orlando, Fla. – – A pastor in Sanford was arrested in Virginia because he had sexually abused two underage girls in a local church, the police said on Thursday.

The 33 -year -old Yersson David Solarte Basto was detained on May 7 by the police authority of Prince William County in Virgina and is waiting for the delivery to Seminole County. According to the Sanford police, Solarte is charged with sexual battery, indecent and lascivious harassment.

According to the investigators, the allegations come from a report on April 10 on the inappropriate contact between Solarte and two young victims. Detectives found that the abuse in the iPulpfingstkirche at South Orlando Drive took place in Sanford, where Solarte acted as a pastor. The police say that both victims are members of the church.

After the first allegations, Solarte was removed from his pastoral role, the authorities said.
