Double 18-wheeler crash causes the clasp of the i-35 s to the New Laredo Highway Lanes

SAN ANTONIO -The lanes from IH-35 South to the north and south on the New Laredo Highway and the Somerset Road are closed according to the San Antonio police after two 18-wheels crashed.

The crash occurred around 11:42 a.m. on the south side of the city, especially between the Somerset Road and the New Laredo Highway.

The details are limited, said Ricardo Guzman, public information officer from SAPD, that people can expect larger delays, and they advise people to look for alternative routes.

It is not known when the alleys are open again. Transguide cameras in the area showed heavy traffic.

With regard to injuries, a spokesman for the fire brigade of San Antonio said that two people were transported as priority-one patients.
