Video material reveals two vehicles in hit-and-run crash on the US route 7 in Pownal VT

Pownal, VT (WRGB) – The Vermont State Police requests the public support in the identification of two vehicles and its operators in connection with an incident that led to serious injuries. The crash occurred around 6:35 a.m. Thursday in Pownal.

Video recordings by investigators show two vehicles near the US route 7 and the Vermont Route 346 at the time of the incident. The vehicles are described as a white Chevrolet Silverado and a White Volkswagen sedan, possibly as a Passat or Jetta, with unknown number plates.

According to the authorities, both vehicles drove south on the US route 7 and were most recently seen how they drove towards North Adams in Massachusetts in the North Hoosac Road.

The Vermont State Police calls on information about the vehicles or their operators to report to the examination.
