Three has to take fantasy players for 5/8/25

Alex Hunter dives in the NBA Playoff -Showdown -Slate on Thursday to find three players who you have to have in your Draftkings lists.

The Timberwolves organize the Warriors for Game 2 of their second round on Thursday and Draftkings offers some big competitions for this showdown slate. In particular, the 400,000 dollar -shootaround pays 100,000 US dollars to first place! In the following I presented three of my preferred NBA DFS goals for this showdown table.

Set your Draftkings Fantasy basketball position here: NBA $ 400K shootaround [$100K to 1st]!

PF, Jimmy Butler, Golden State Warriors at Minnesota Timberwolves, $ 11,200 (US Dollar $ 16,800)

Stephen Curry (Hamstring) will be outside tonight and Butler will have a must for this showdown slate and the best player to create them as a captain. With Curry only for 12.5 minutes in game 1 Butler was two templates in front of a triple double and achieved 51.75 FPTs over 41.2 minutes. If we include this game, the wing has played in three of the four games that Butler achieved at least 44 FPTs at the time of the deadline.

With Curry this season, Butler's usage and support will increase by 3.8 and 8.7 percentage points this season, both of which are both team height. These expanded rates raise butler to 1.3 FPTS per minute, which is also a team high for this situation. The veteran has achieved some great achievements against Timberwolves since leaving the club in 2019, and Butler was supposed to thrive again in game 2 in game 2 with possibly over 50 FPTs.

SG/SF, Gary Payton II, Golden State Warriors at Minnesota Timberwolves, $ 4,400 ($ 6,600 CPT)

After Curry was abandoned in game 1, Payton achieved 22.75 FPTs in 25.5 minutes. The defensive specialist started the second half instead of the injured curry and received 16.7 minutes in this half. Payton should start in game 2 and approach 30 minutes and bring it in a great position to easily produce its cheap content.

Payton achieves 1.0 FPTs per minute this season and shoots 52.8% from the field and 44.4% during the playoffs. Payton has collected 24.1 FPTS per game in the last five times, which he has registered for over 20 minutes, and he is the No. 1 value for this showdown slate.

PF/C, Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves against Golden State Warriors, (USD 9,900)

Outside of Anthony Edwards, Reid was the most effective Timberwolves player against the Warriors this season. The big man recorded 1 30.25 FPTs in 33 minutes in game and Reid achieved an average of 29.3 FPTS per game in five matchups with Golden State this season. The 25-year-old, who is a versatile big, who can stretch the ground with his three-point shot, makes Reid an important piece for Minnesota in this matchup against the Warriors, since Golden State is a team that prefers to use mainly small ball stage.

Reid should see in game 2 about 30 minutes and he has a blanket over 30 FPTs, especially with this competition on his home floor. Reid generates 1.1 FPTS per minute with a usage rate of 21.6% this season and he achieves 2.4 fps per game at home than on the street.
