Trump is considering naming Jeanine Pirro as an incumbent US lawyer for DC

President Donald Trump is considering FOX News host and former public prosecutor Jeanine Pirro as the reigning US lawyer of Washington, DC, to call two sources familiar with the matter that have been confirmed CNN.

According to the sources, Pirro is not the only person who is taken into account, and it is possible that Trump could choose another candidate.

The White House did not respond to a request for comments.

ABC first reported that Trump looks at Pirro.

Trump said on Thursday on Thursday that he would soon announce a new person for the replacement of Ed Martin, whose appointment had been endangered in the past few days because the Republicans on the Capitol Hill had insurmountable setback from republicans.

“He is a great person and he didn't get the support of people I thought,” said Trump reporters in the White House. “I can only lift this little phone a day so often, but we have someone who will be great,” he added.

Instead, the president said Martin was going to take on a role within the Ministry of Justice “or whatever”.
