Salt Lake City, Utah, April 29, 2025 (Gephardt Daily)-the employees surely escaped on Tuesday morning after a raging fire consumed the snack production in which they climbed into flames.

Salt Lake City's firefighters were called into the scene in 1518 S. Main in the neighborhood of the baseball park around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday. The structure that used to live in the Golden Phoenix Restaurant waved the clouds of smoke, which were visible through a large part of the Salt Lake Valley.

Salt Lake City Fire Capt. Brandt Hancuff said reporters at the crime scene that the fire soon, if two alarms, then three, “quickly pick up more devices here.

“The good news is that all employees in this place could evacuate themselves without injuries, which is great. And then we had our first crews that put on a fire attack, in which they came up with heavy fire, a lot of smoke and then some flass conditions. Because of these conditions, they had to withdraw from the structure.”

“Because of these conditions, they had to withdraw from the structure. We switched to a defense fire where our focus is on exposure to the south and west of this structure.”

According to Hancuff, hose lines have been set up to protect the nearby structures with an air flow, and we are currently working on this defense fire. We are obviously in a very populated part of the city here. “

Hancuff said he expected the fire to be outside within a few hours, and the crews would stay on site all day to “bring out hotspots”.

The nearby streets were closed during the majority of the operation.

Immediately there was no reason for the damage or money estimate of the damage. Gephardt Daily will have more information if it is published.
