Shawnee Co. says cases from the crime of the crime of Record 2023, which comes to the solution

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – The public prosecutor's office of Shawnee Co. has ended several major cases in recent weeks. At the same time, they opt for the recently renovated courthouse.

Kagay said that several murder cases have seen a decision in the past few months. He said many of these cases date from 2023 when Topeka saw a record number of murders. These cases, he said, can often take 18 months or more to get through court hearings and conviction.

Kagay also said he was looking forward to the renovation work by Shawnee Co. Courthouse. He said it would be a more comfortable environment for employees and victims and witnesses to meet and testify with them.

In addition, he said that the court employee was creatively looking for space for hearings and other procedures, while renovation work took place on court halls. After the work has been completed and the room of the courtroom is expanded, he is looking forward to that everyone returns to speed.
