Father of the future NBA Hall of Famer passes

Former NBA player Stan Love died on Sunday at the age of 76.

The news was announced by his son Kevin Love, who plays for Miami Heat. Older love scored an average of 6.8 points and four rebounds in his four -year career. He played for the Washington Bullets and Los Angeles Lakers.

The recent love, which in 2016 won a championship along with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, gave his father a warm homage on Instagram. The following wrote love:

“Papa, you fought for a long time. The most difficult stretch was in the last 6 months. The most painful to testify in the past few weeks. And even in the end when you further deteriorated – I still saw yourself as a giant. My first hero. My first hero. The words we heard continuously.

Kevin Love was gone throughout the season for personal reasons. In the post -season against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he missed all three games.
