NEW ORLEANS -OLE MISS Track & Field Junior and three times reigning NCAA shot Put Champion Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan has landed a place on a sixth observation list in a row for the Bowerman for 2025.

The Bowman – Collegiate Track & Fields version of the Heisman Trophy – began in 2009 and is presented every year the nation's most outstanding male and female athletes. The trophy is named after the famous head coach of Oregon, Bill Bowerman.

This is the sixth list of observations for Robinson-O'Hagan, which was a semi-finalist for the Bowerman in 2024 after heading for a spectacular campaign in the second year in which he swept the shot of the NCAA men. Robinson O'Hagan is the first Ole Miss Männer launcher to create the list of observations, and only the fourth in the history of the rebels who together with the Olympies Ricky Robertson (2012), Isiah Young (2013) and Sam Kendricks in total.

Three weeks ago in Floridas Tom Jones Memorial, Robinson-O'Hagan put a NCAA lead at the time in the men's shot with a shell of 20.75 m/68-1. This litter is now in second place and continues to lead the eastern region. In the Herrenhammer, Robinson-O'Hagan voted his career and the school record, which he took last summer at the 2024 Olympic exams with an explosion of 74.54 m/244-7. Two months ago at the NCAA indoor championships, Robinson-O'Hagan secured his third national title in the Shot Put (20.49 m/67-02.75) and at the same time took fifth place in a stacked weight throw (24.09 m/79-00.75). These ended an all-America status and contributed 14 NCAA points for the 20-point overall and draw of the rebel men for the 10th place, which was the second best inner role in the history of Ole Miss.


Robinson-O'Hagan was also appointed SEC Indoor field athlete of the year and, after his second time in a row, won a share of the Sec Cliff Harper Trophy. His 20 points contributed to bringing the rebel men to third place at the conference meeting – in the history of men in the history of men on the inside of men.

Robinson-O'Hagan comes from Woonocket, Rhode Island, is one of only 10 athletes in the history of Division I, which is at least three shot crowns in a row in the outdoor and outdoor times and outdoors, only the second three-gate athlete from South Carolinas Brad Snyder (1998 Indoor, '99, '99 Indoor).

He ended the college competitors in this indoor season undefeated and has not lost overall colleagues since last April and since last January. His career-best threshold of 21.11 m/69-03.25 from the past in this indoor season occupies the 21st place in Collegiate history and the second best in SEC history. His second weight of 24.35 m/79-10.75 occupies the 13th place in the history of the collegiate-related career letters on 45.46 m-and Payton Otterdahl from North Dakota State from 2019 (45.92 m).

In the second year in 2024, Robinson-O'Hagan was the youngest, who has been the shot of the NCAA men in the indoor and outdoor area since 1989 and the fourth, who has the fourth young studies who has all time. In total last season, Robinson-O'Hagan claimed these two NCAA titles, four all-America prices for the first team, 26 NCAA points, four SEC titles and 40 points on the way to sweep the UTFCCA South region men's field athlete of the year and the SEC-Field field athletes of the year. He also claimed both the SEC Cliff Harper Trophy interiors as well as the SEC commissioner Trophy outdoors after scoring 20 points at every conference meeting.

In less than three full seasons with the rebels, Robinson-O'Hagan has the Ole Miss Record Book with the claim of top markings in the weight throw (24.35 m/79-10.75) and the shot PUT (21.11 m/69-03.25) interior and hammer (74.54 m/244-7) and shot (20.98m/68-10). He already has seven career sec titles (four indoor), a whopping 84 career emeria points, which were achieved in addition to his now three national titles, 10 all-America awards and 47 NCAA points.

Robinson-O'Hagan is the only thrower in the SEC history that sweeps the weight and shot of men into the interiors (this twice in 2024 and 2025), is one of only three in the second history to hammer the shot of men outdoors and hammer outdoors, outdoors outdoors outdoors outdoor Outdoors Outdoors. One of only two collegians with 79 feet in the weight throw and 69 foot in the shot inside.

Robinson-O'Hagan made a name for himself last summer at the Olympic exams of the US Olympic times as the youngest competitor, which achieved both finals in the men's put and hammer. He took eighth place in the shot in a school record of Ole Miss Outdoor 20.98 m/68-10 and destroyed his own record in the hammer with 74.54 m/244-7 by five feet. Robinson-O'Hagan ended the season in both events from Track & Field News, which took seventh place in the hammer and eighth place in the task.

The next observation list update is planned for Wed., May 21 (women) and Thursday, May 22nd (men).

Ole Miss has the weekend free to prepare for the 2025 outdoor championships, which will take place this season on May 15th to 17th at the University of Kentucky.

About the Bowerman
The Bowerman, who debuted in 2009 and was named after the former coach of the University of Oregon, Bill Bowman, is presented annually by the USTFCCA to the nation's most outstanding male and female NCAA.


Bill Bowerman served athletics in numerous species. His leadership as President of the Preliminary Organization of the Ustfcca, the National Collegiate Track Coaches Association, and his contributions to the NCAA Echtachtik and the ongoing community as a whole are among his many permanent legacies.

Cross Country results are not in this consideration. The current collective athletics season started on November 29, 2024 and ends on June 14, 2025.



STORY: The Bowerman was first awarded in 2009. The first official observation lists were announced in 2010. The winners of the past year were Parker Valby from Florida and Leo Neugebauer from Texas.
