Non-licensed driver who was arrested in the crash reaction reaction in which the beloved Bronx soccer coach was killed

A non -licensed driver was arrested in the death of a beloved Bronx football coach.

Downer was a retired judicial officer and spent his time as a Cheff football coach of the Bronx Buccaneers football team, where he worked as a mentor for young people in the community.

McLean drove a BMW on November 30th when the police said he had a red light and fell against a truck driver at the intersection of the Eastchester Road and the Givan Avenue. The effects left the BMW spirally and in downer, who had just parked his car outside of his house.

Downer was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he died.

McLean stayed at the scene, but was initially not charged. The investigators later found that he accelerated at the time of the collision and led the red light.

The driver of the truck, Orville Berry, from Yonkers, left the scene of the accident. Berry was arrested in March and was not guilty of his charges.

Police sources say that McLean has had several red light violations since the crash. He is charged with manslaughter in second degree, criminal -negligent murder and without a driver's license.
