Doordash Worker Shooting: Video shows the interaction between the delivery man and Chester Highway Superintendent who shot him

Chester, New York (WABC) – New video shows the interaction in Orange County, between a Doordash driver and the highway supervisor of Chester, who is charged in the back after shooting the 24-year-old man.

“The video can definitely be seen worrying,” said Chester Town Supervisor Brandon Holdridge.

Holdridge reacted to the alleged measures that was taken last week by another chosen official: Highway superintendent John Reilly, who is accused of shooting a Doorash delivery driver who was lost and asked for help.

Holdridge initially gave a fairly neutral explanation, but this opinion changed after the shooting range of the shootout was seen, which checked the law enforcement.

“I can't imagine what went through the thoughts in this scenario,” said Holdridge. “It's really just shock and unbelief.”

A man who is assumed that Reilly fires a warning shot then aims at the entrance and screams “Go”. There are two additional shots, including one that went through the victim's Toyota Corolla.

It corresponds to the sequence of the events that the 24-year-old told his family.

“He grabbed his firearm, and … yes, he just started shooting him, and he thought his life was over,” said a relative of the victim.

Reilly is back home after he has released the deposit. A Grand Jury from Orange County now decides whether to clarify the motorway superintendent.

On Thursday outside the camera, relatives of the victim say that they are outraged by the video and want justice. The victim remains in the hospital and has to undergo a second operation.

“It is unfortunate that he was lost and his phone was apparently at 1% or so,” said Holdridge. “I feel terrible for him. I hope that he will make a full and healthy recovery.”

The family says that Reilly is removed from his post as a motorway superintendent – something that can only happen through resignation.

So far there is no indication that Reilly intends to withdraw from his chosen item.
