When it comes to audio devices and headphones, Sony is up there with all the big boys – you know, Samsung, Apple. Some even may argue that the Japanese company has the best noise-can-candle technology in the industry.

There is a good reason for that Best headphone list on the Internet (ours included). And now we have information about the next model that seems to be coming shortly, the Sony WH-1000XM6.

If we say “information”, we actually mean all the information, thanks to an early list that was accidentally published on Amazon Spain and discovered by Reddit user Peruho. It is not surprising that the list was removed, but the boys Dealabs could make a screenshot and set it up for all of us.

Unfortunately there is no picture of the actual headphones, but the specification sheet is quite detailed. The screenshot is quite inferior, so we pulled the information up and arranged it properly in a pretty table. You need to know the following.

If you look at the technical table mentioned above, it is important to put all of these functions and specifications into the right perspective. The previous model has already increased the yardstick for the noise saving, but it seems that Sony strengthens its game in this department with the WH-1000XM6. Even if the differences are not that many, a new noise reduction chip and two additional microphones sound after a reasonable upgrade. The WH-1000XM5 uses the QN1 chip, so that Sony skips a generation and goes directly to the QN3, which may bring an even better noise and sound quality.

The retail box content (and the supplied 1.2 mm 3.5 mm cable) also encounters that Sony keeps the 3.5 mm sockets on the WH-1000XM6, which is a good thing, since they can use the headphones in both wireless and wire-bound mode. There is also a base that is not a new thing, since all previous models of the series were delivered with cases in the retail package.

After all, there is no big difference when it comes to colors. The predecessor is available in four colors – black, midnight blue, silver and smoke pink, while the WH -1000XM6 starts in only three colors after the leaked list – black, platinum silver and midnight blue.

The Dealabs report also contains a retail price for the WH-1000XM6. According to the information, these headphones will be launched between May 14 and May 16 (May 15th) in the USA with $ 449.99. This is a price jump of $ 50 compared to the previous generation, which was launched last May for 399 US dollars.
