Cape Cod High School results and highlights from May 8th.

After the Nantucket Girls Lacrosse team won a three-goal victory in the first meeting with Nauset, the Warriors won a certain revenge on Thursday in another narrow game.

Julia Kipperman scored nine goals and Zoe Labdon added a hat trick to the Warriors who came back in their last five games for their fourth victory. Norah Swanson achieved 16 parades on the net.

Mayson Lower scored four goals, Mia Baudette scored a hat goal, Grace Hanlon scored twice and Dylan Damian added a goal for the Whalers (7: 3) when her two-game victory ended. Suz Peraner achieved an assist and Ella Douglas achieved six parades on the net.

Girl lacrosse

Sturgis East 11, Sturgis West 5: The Sturm (3-8) achieved her third victory in a row.

Cora McDade scored twice while Savannah Roy had a goal and two templates. Maeve Malloy scored a goal and a template, and Natalie Allen had an assist for the navigators (1-10). Ceci O'Connor had 17 parades on the net.

St. John Paul II. 13, Monomoy 8: The Lions (8-3) have played two victories with two in the last five games.

Akira Umbello was with six goals and assist, while Mia Curley added four goals. Sophie Philbrick scored eight templates and Emma Tucker had four. Raegan Dillon hit twice and Julia Johnson added his own goal. Keira Nakachi made eight parades.

The sharks (9-3) had their three-game victory streak end.

Falmouth 13, Barnstable 10: The Clippers (7-6) held their dynamics to achieve a third win in a row since they ended a defeat against four games.

Emelie Johnson led four goals and two templates for the Red Hawks (5-8) who lost two games. Claire Kayajan added two goals and templates, while Shelby Locascio scored a hat trick and two templates. Caroline Curley had a goal and a template. Paige Huntington and Victoria Dinn played a solid defense during the defeat.

Dennis Yarmouth 12, Plymouth South 11: Jenna Richard and Kourtney David (one assist) each scored four goals to lead the dolphins (7-6) to a non-League victory. Carolyn O'keefe added two goals and an assist, and Nadia Cerqueira scored two goals. Maya Cerqueira made 11 parades.

Marthas Weinberg 13, Falmouth Academy 7: With a win against the Mariners (3-7), the Vineyarders (5-5) are back in the prize column and end a slide with four games.

Sandwich 18, Cape Cod Academy 10: The Blue Knights (8-3) ended a run of two defeats in a row with a resume victory against the Seahawks (8-2), whose two defeats have come in their last three games.

Quinn Anderson led the Blue Knights with five goals and two templates, while Elisabeth Stutzman added four goals and an assistance. Kyla Darmon achieved a hat trick of goals and templates, and Abbie Reisig scored three goals with assist. Kolbie Darmon, Addie Anderson and Avery Cobban all found the net once. Ashlynn Krueger started on the net and achieved eight parades.

Young lacrosse

St. John Paul II. 13, Monomoy 12: The Lions (6-6) won games for the third time this season, which fits their longest winning streak in the season.

Harry Beaumont scored 13 parades for the sharks (9-4) who saw her three-game winning shop. Jackson Rocco scored two goals and a trio of templates, while Tamer Khalil added three goals and two templates. Brodie Lavalley, Harry Michaud and Aidan Stone each had two goals.

Nauset 7, Nantucket 4: The Warriors (9-4) won the season series with the woods (7-4) and won their fourth game in a row. Sawyer McCutchen hit twice while Jack Peno added a goal and two templates. Michael Flynn, Logan Poulin, Joey Berardi and Oscar Escher scored a goal. Zach Coelho was a rock in the goal and the defense played strongly in front of him.

Norwell 17, Mashpee 0: The falcons (7-7) were hidden for the first time this season in a defeat that ended their two-game winning shop.

baseball

Sandwich 2, Dennis-Yarmouth 1: Ty Creighton threw seven inns, gave up four goals, one run and hit 10 for the Blue Knights (8-5), who won five games in a row. Joe Coughlan met a solo Homerun for the Dead Center in the fifth inning. Luke Morrison added the game's first RBI. Drew Peters gave an outstanding defense on the third basis. James Niemiec and Damian King had a goal.

The dolphins (8-6) lost three direct excursions after they had had two defeats throughout the season.

Martha's Vineyard 5, East Bridgewater 1 (10 Inn.): The Vineyarders (6-7) survived East Bridgewater behind Hunter Johnson, who threw a jewel of 9 2/3 innings and only gave up seven goals for four strikes. Leo Napior was 2: 5 with an RBI and Tripp Arciaga 2: 4 with a run achieved. Lathrop Keene played a flawless midfield with eight putouts, including two spectacular dives.

St. John Paul II. 31, Rising Tide 0 (5 Inn.): Drew Richards threw three perfect innings in the victory, where he achieved eight of nine batteries. Ben Siscoe collected his first university hit. The lions (14-0) remained unbeaten.

Mashpee 9, Nantucket 4: The falcons (6-8) are located directly in the Sieg column with a season Whalers (5-8).

Brandon Baptiste threw five innings and gave three goals and two deserved runs for the falcons. He ended with five strikeouts. Gavin Lakatos achieved a trio of hits with two RBIs. Andrew Fancher had two goals, scored twice and drove two more. Ben Keilty had a RBI and Michael McGrail Stahl three bases.

Henry Tejada went 2-3 with two RBIs, Eli Maciver scored a goal and an RBI, Ronald Del Rosario Gomez had two goals, one run and an RBI, Andrew Lavin pulled two walks and came.

Norwell 7, Falmouth 4: The Clippers (9-4) had their four-game winning shop in a non-league matchup.

Softball

Monomoy 12, Nauset 7: The unbeaten sharks (13: 0) defeated the Warriors (6: 8) behind Lilly Furman, who went 3: 4 on the plate with three RBIs and two runs.

Kiley Mawn was achieved with a walk, a RBI and a run. Bella Bellfeuille had two goals, took a walk and had two RBIs and scored twice. Alana Lojko threw 4 1/3 innings, gave up seven goals and five runs (three earned), beat five and went three before Kinsey Lister completed the last 2 2/3 innings. She recorded the victory and only gave two goals, two runs (one deserved) with four strikes.

Alex Mince went 3: 4 with two RBIs and one goal, while Ava Lagasse had a goal and drove in two runs for the Warriors.

Falmouth 19, Barnstable 2: The Clippers (6-6) ended a two-game defeat behind Ellie Bennett, who set up five innings and only gave up one goal with nine strike outs. Molly Belfiore went 3: 4 on the court, scored twice and drove in four runs. Kaylee Shaw scored two goals (one triple) and scored three times. Christina Femino also had two goals (one double), scored three times and two RBIs.

The Red Hawks (2-12) lost a sixth time in a row.

Rising Tide 23, St. John Paul II. 0: The Lions (4-9) were defeated in successive games.

Young tennis

Dennis-Yarmouth 4, Barnstable 1: With their second win in five games, the dolphins (5-8) are back in the gap.

Landon Richter defeated Dean Cordeiro in the first singles (6-3, 6-3). Collin Caron had a three-person victory over Harry Baroni in the second singles (6-7 (5), 6-1, 10-5). Aidan Karras and Ryan Clarke defeated Kaleb Jones and Chase King in the first double (6-2, 6-2), and Matt Anderson and Ben Soltis defeated Stephen Hurley and Moses Winston in the second singles (4-6, 6-4, 6-1).

Seymor Singh defeated Michael O'reilly in the third singles (7-6 (3), 4-6, 10-8) for the individual win of the Red Hawks (1-11).

Falmouth 3, Monomoy 2: The Clipper (11-2) presented the sharks (11: 3) their third loss of season and extended their own profit series to four games.

Jacob Fadell defeated Ryan Casey in the second singles (7-5, 6-4) and Quintin Hefferan defeated Zach Shields (6-4, 6-2) in third singles. Jack Beardsley and Fofi Versyloke defeated Blake Noonan and Ethan in the first double (6-2, 6-3) to win the match.

Roman Pavluchenko defeated Brady Keyser in the first singles (6-1, 6-4), while Nick Hadden and Patrick McMahon Moss Junker and Miles defeated in the second doubles (6-4, 2-6, 6-3) for the sharks.

Marthas Weinberg 5, Nauset 0: The Vineyarders (11-0) remained unbeaten after their 11th season in a row. The Warriors (4-8) have dropped successive games.

Sturgis West 5, Rising Tide 0: The navigators (8-1) won their fourth game in a row.

Rockland 4, Mashpee 1: The falcons (5-8) have dropped three games in a row since two victories came to an end.

Girl tennis

Marthas Weinberg 5, Nauset 0: The Vineyarders (10-0) kept their unbeaten start after swinging the warriors (5: 6), who lowered the three games in a row.

In the first singles, Laina Dubin increased her record to 9-1 with a direct victory against Ajax O'Brien. Charlette Marshard and Ellie Pennington won their second or third singles games. Zoe Tritman and Leah Thomson (first doubles) as well as Ella Moran and Tessa Schulz (Second Doubles) won victories in their games.

St. John Paul II. 5, Sturgis West 0: The lions (15-1) added a 14th victory in a row with a Sweep of the Navigators (2-4). Lily Walker (first singles), Bella Scioletti (second singles), Grace Walker (third singles), Ava Cai and Kayla Katziff (first doubles) as well as Sophia Martins and Emily Desruteaux (second doubles) won 6: 0, 6: 0.

Monomoy 3, Falmouth 2: The sharks (10-3) achieved their third victory in a row when the Clippers (5-7) still search for their first successive victories of the season.

Girl Golf

Nauset 4, Marthas Weinberg 2: The Warriors (6-2) secured their place in Division 2 South Sectional after defeating the VineyArders (2-4) at the Edgartown Golf Course.

Finley Williams, Lucy Keigans, Liliana Baroni and Leah Brown won all their games for the Warriors.

Piper Blau and Alaiana Debtententencourt each won their games for the Vineyarders who need two victories to qualify for the state tournament.

Barnstable 5, Dennis-Yarmouth 1: The Red Hawks (6-2) secured their place in the state sections when they listed the Winneless Dolphins (0-8) on the Hyannis Golf Course.
