Several injuries New Prairie High School Busse Crash on us 20 crash

Several people suffered in an accident with four vehicles with two new Buses of the Prairie United School Corporation.

The sheriff of the sheriff of Laporte County reacted to a crash at around 3:15 p.m., the 8th May 8th with a commercial motor vehicle, a one-axle panel van and two new mini buses from Prairie Schools, the sheriffs office announced in a press release. The crash occurred in Kankakee Township north of Laporte at the intersection of US 20 and Fail Road.

The members of a sports team traveled to the school's mini buses, said the police, but did not state which team. The Junior Versity Baseball team of the New Prairie High School should play at the Hobart High School. The Hobart High School Athletic Department confirmed in a Facebook post when the announcement of the game was canceled. The university game between the two schools that are to be played in New Prairie was also canceled, said the Hobart High School. Several people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment, the police said.

When the officers had freed the crash, the US 20 was closed in East in Indiana-39, in western US 20 in Indiana-2 and the Fail Road. From 6:30 p.m., May 8, the Sheriff's office said that the scene had been cleared and the closed streets reopened.

The New Prairie United School Corporation gave a joint explanation at the Sheriff's Office and gave no additional information about students or employees.

The crash is examined.
