Clock: Highlights from Tennessee Portal Addition Amaree Abram

Tennessee committed a commitment on Tuesday from the Louisiana Tech Transfer Amaree Abram and Rick Barnes received his third collection from the portal this off -season. In this cycle, the Vols have already signed Vanderbilt striker Jaylen Carey and Maryland Point Guard Ja'kobi Gillespie.

Abram will be in four seasons with his fourth team after he has joined the list of volunteers. Before that, he played a season with Ole Miss, one season with Georgia Tech and a season with Louisiana Tech. As a newcomer to the rebels, Abram showed promising and started an average of 8.0 points per game and started 22 out of 33 games this season.

Abram's most productive college season came to Louisiana Tech in his year, where he achieved an average of 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for the Bulldogs. The 6-foot 4-Wachmann from Port Arthur, Texas, started all 32 games for La Tech last season.

Abram brings Tennessee a threat to a hit with the ability to switch off shots from range. He is a career of 35.9% three-point shooter and last season with the Bulldogs put down a career high-high 37.3% of his perimeter attempts.

Abram-Ole Miss Highlights (2022-2023)

Abram played two games against Tennessee with the rebels as a newcomer. In her first meeting for the opening game SEC game, Abram 4 of 9, 2 out of 5 out of three struck 10 points for the four-point loss. Abram later recorded seven points in the season at 3 out of 10, 1-from-5-three-point shooting at a SEC tournament loss.
