Community mourns the man who was killed by Gallatin, TN Boat Rampe,

Gallatin, tenn. (WKRN) – The members of a man who was shot at a Gallatin boat ramp have questions.

The officers were called to Lock 4 Park near the second boat ramp on Wednesday at 11:15 p.m. After the publication, the authorities believe that 30-year-old Miles Hanna broke a verbal examination with Will Wheatley (24) into a deadly shootout.

Magdlyn Carney, Hannas Prom date in 2013, said the two have stayed friends since then.

“I don't know anyone who had something bad about him,” said Carney. “He always laughed, loved cars and obviously loves dogs.”

Carney said the community was destroyed by the news of Hanna's death.

“I really just want everyone to know how lovingly Miles was and how much they were loved,” said Carney. “I hope everyone can meet through this difficult time and support each other – especially in his family and his dog Oscar.”

Wheatley was charged with murder, but the authorities said that the motif was still being examined.
