Local law enforcement agencies deal with youth criminal rates

Fargo, ND (Valley News Live) – The teenagers were obviously in the news for their connections to serious crimes. But do crimes in which young people are involved are actually more common?

The week started with a 16-year-old who was arrested in a shots in Moorhead.

“So far it has been and I hope that it is rare. If it happens more, we will of course handle it,” said Lt. Mike Detloff from the Moorhead police.

The police say that despite this incident, many young people will not see any cases like this.
