Family questions examine the examination of Skyler Black's death in Georgia

Kelley said she had questions for every agency that is involved in the investigation. Black disappeared on December 1st, and his truck and his cell phone were discovered days later near the Montezuma Bluffs Boat Landing. Although the law enforcement authorities canceled the search shortly afterwards, Black's family continued their efforts independently.

Kelley believes that the condition of Black's tattoo, which he could provide information on the timeline of his death three days before he disappeared. “He had a brand new tattoo; it was a rose. The tattoo artist said that if that were in the dirty water, he should have had an infection and all of this – and the tattoo would have been messed up and it was not confused. It wasn't very long in the water,” she said.

Kelley also questioned inconsistencies in the investigation and found that the website of Georgia Bureau of Investigation was discovered in the forests, while Macon County's forensic doctor previously confirmed that he was found in the river north of Montezuma Bluffs. With Black's medical history, Kelley wants to know why the Sheriff's office of the Macon County broke off the search.

The attempts to contact civil servants to get an update to Black's death examination were met with an automated answer that points out that they would not be in the office by Friday.
