Anthony Edwards leaves the game against Warriors shortly after a bad leg injury

The injuries are increasing in the semi -final series of the Western Conference between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves.

In the second quarter of Game 2 Thursday evening, Timberwolves-Wachmann Anthony Edwards drove to try a layup-for the Warriors Center Trayce Jackson-Davis to land exactly on his left ankle. The blow sent Edwards in the ground in pain, and was later brought into the changing room and diagnosed with a sprain of the left ankle.

Minnesota later announced that his return was questionable. Edwards left the game after achieving seven points, four rebounds and three assists within 15 minutes.

Surprisingly, after some half -time work, he returned to the second half.

The injury follows a left thigh strain, which was suffered by Stephen Curry, Golden State Guard in game 1 of the series. When the first half of Game 2 found the two teams without their stars.

This season, Edwards scored an average of 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, which achieved his third all-star team in a row.
