2025 NBA playoffs: Best moments from Wolves' game 2 victory over Warriors

The Minnesota Timberwolves took care of the business on Thursday and defeated the Golden State Warriors 117-93 in game 2 until the Western Conference semi-finals in Minneapolis.

Minnesota opened with a 13-0 run and never looked back on the way to a wire-to-wiring. Game 3 is Saturday (8.30 p.m. ET on ABC) in San Francisco.

Anthony Edwards left the game in the first half with a sprain of the left ankles, but returned after the break. He had 20 points and nine rebounds, while Julius Randle contributed a team high of 24 points and 11 assists. Randle is the first Minnesota player with 20 points and 10 templates in a playoff game since Kevin Garnett in 2004.

According to the ESPN research, Edwards and Randle are the third Timberwolves duo, each of which has 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the same game in the franchise after season history.

Without Stephen Curry, which is subject to at least a week due to a left -wing chief of class 1, Golden State went deep into his bank – 14 players recorded minutes. The warriors were led by Jonathan Kuminga with 18 points from the bank, while Jimmy Butler III. 17 points and 7 rebounds.
