“She was only there all the time,” said Hacker's grandparents, Doreen and Mykola Andrejczuk. “She was just a great person.”

On Monday evening, Hacker took dinner and drove home to be with her boyfriend Thomas Sell. The two were together for nine months, but discussed together for a lifetime.

According to City of Tonawanda, Hacker drove the City of Tonawand police on the Twin Cities Memorial Highway north when it was hit by another vehicle from behind.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 55-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hacker died of the injuries she had suffered.

The crash is examined.

“The floor fell from my feet,” said Doreen, describing the call she received on Monday evening from Sell, who went to the crash site. “It was the worst day of my life. Now it will be the worst Mother's Day of my life.”

Police and family members ask everyone who has seen the crash to call the police at number 716-692-2121.

“You don't understand what could happen to someone,” described Sell. “Chelsea is simply a great person who always takes care of, wanted to take care of everyone who was around, especially her grandparents.”

“I don't care about something anymore. I want her here,” said Doreen.
